About The Event
Take in the breathtaking from one of New Hampshire's 48 4,000 footers, scramble a challenging section of trail and enjoy the sounds of solitude in the forest at camp. This overnight fundamentals trip is the perfect way to get a taste of backpacking in the White Mountains while learning essential backpacking skills and climbing one of the 4,000 footers, or to kickstart your NH 4000 Footers 48. A moderate/challenging 10.4 mile out-and-back trip will bring our group to the summit of Mount Moosilauke and along a stretch of the famed Appalachian Trail.
