About The Event

Backpacking season doesn't have to end once the temperature drops. Learn how you can enjoy the colder weather and winter backpacking both safely and comfortably. Join Reach Your Summit owner and guide Mat Jobin for a fun, informative and interactive presentation drawn from Mat's personal experience out on the trails and in the mountains.. Enjoy a show-and-tell of gear and learn about topics such as Trip Planning, Choosing The Right Gear, Clothing Selection For Cold Weather, Winter Travel, Setting Up Camp, How To Sleep Warm, Tips, Tricks, Methods & Safety Tips.
