Guided Hike On New England Trail ( In Support Of Hurricane Helene Relief)

Hurricane Helene brought devastating flooding, winds and destruction to the southeastern US and Appalachian Trail towns. Members of the communities that have supported hikers for so many years are now finding themselves without reliable water, food, critical supplies and power. Many homes and businessess have been damaged or destroyed. The hiking community has long drawn support of these small towns and now it is our turn to return the favor. This special guided hike is open to all and will take place on the New England Trail. The moderate 6.4 mile loop hike will bring our group through Penwood State Park with multiple highlights along the way including waterside views, multiple overlooks, massive glacial boulders, history and more.

There is no fee for this hike, but we will be accepting donations in any denomination to support the ongoing relief efforts in North Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee. All donations will be…
