About The Event
Hike along the oldest footpath in the United States with this group backpacking adventure on the Long Trail in Vermont. This 21.1 mile loop trip will bring us by through dense woodlands to multiple overlooks, by remote ponds, and to the summit of two peaks . This trip will include educational segments on skills, but our primary objective will be an exciting adventure. It is open to all though you will most likely find it suitable if you are:
- Beginner backpacker who has a high level of fitness
- Intermediate backpacker who wants to improve skills and modernize gear
- Advanced backpacker looking for a refresher or a new adventure
