Join the Suffield Parks and Recreation Department and Reach Your Summit for a special Spring and St. Patrick’s Day Weekend Celebration Hike/Walk Workshop at beautiful Sunrise Park—part of Suffield Celebrates the 250th!
This unique outdoor experience blends local history, nature, and wellness as we honor Suffield’s role in America’s past while enjoying the landscapes that shaped it. Just above Sunrise Park lies the New England Trail (NET), formerly known as the Metacomet Trail—a historic route once traveled by Native peoples and early colonists during the era leading up to the American Revolution. That rich history helped the trail earn its designation in 2009 as one of only 11 National Scenic Trails in the country.
