Campsite selection is an important skill for any backpacker, day hiker or adventurer. Not only can it help provide a safe and enjoyable experience, but it can aid in great rest & recovery, and effciency. No matter what type of shelter you prefer, this workshop has something for everyone. Bring out your own to get comfortable with using it before the backpacking season kicks off or get a look at some of ours in a outdoor setting on the Appalachian Trail. We will go over finding a five star campsite, how to set up tarps, tents and hammocks, how to set up on tent platforms, lean-to and campsite guidelines, LNT and more. You will leave this workshop feeling more confident in selecting a proper campsite, different tarp pitches, addressing weather and more.
