This loop hike is being held as part of the Blue Blaze Fall Hike Series in celebration of the 90th anniversary of Connecticut's Blue Blaze Hiking Trail System (1929-2019).
Each hiker will be provided with bottled water, snack, sunblock & insect repellent. A daypack, waist pack or jacket with pockets to carry these items is recommended. You may want to pack The Ten Essentials of hiking with you (your guide will have these items too). Proper hiking clothing (no cotton) and footwear (hiking boots, hiking shoes or trail runners) are important for a safe and enjoyable experience.
