Join Reach Your Summit for a 3 Day/2 Night one-of-a-kind backpacking adventure in eastern Connecticut's pristine woodlands! Channel your inner Benton MacKaye (CT native, Wilderness Society co-founder, visionary & creator of the Appalachian Trail) on this easy to moderate 43.5 mile loop backpacking trip as we connect two major blue blaze hiking trails, greenways and more. This unique trip will offer a deeper connection to ourselves, nature, each other and the communities through which we travel. Highlights include: Pixie Falls, Mansfield Hollow, a section of the 400+ year old Connecticut Path, pine forests, rock formations, state forests and more. This trip will bring us to a quieter portion of the state where over 100 miles of pathway exploration and solitude are just a few of the rewards.
