Join Reach Your Summit for a 3 Day/2 Night one-of-a-kind backpacking adventure in eastern Connecticut's pristine woodlands! Channel your inner Benton MacKaye (CT native, Wilderness Society co-founder, visionary & creator of the Appalachian Trail) on this easy to moderate 31.6 mile loop backpacking trip as we connect four major blue blaze hiking trails (Narragansett, Nehantic, Quinebaug and Pachaug) pathways and more. This unique trip in southern New England has been a hiker favorite over the last couple of years so we've brought it back to the calendar again for 2025 with some new highlights and variation. It will offer a deeper connection to ourselves, nature, each other and the communities through which we travel. Highlights include: Rhododendron Sanctuary, Mount Misery, Green Fall Pond, pine forests, rock formations, state forests and more.
