6th ANNUAL BARKHAMSTED EARTH DAY NATURE FESTIVAL – The Town’s Conservation and Economic Development Commissions will honor Mother Nature with its Barkhamsted Earth Day Nature Festival, which kicks off its sixth year on Sunday, April 28th, from 12:30-5:00 p.m. at Matthies Grove in Peoples State Forest near and in the Pavilion off East River Road (just across from Squire’s Tavern at 100 East River Road). Join Reach Your Summit, Christine's Critters, FALPS, CT DEEP, FRWA and many others for a day filled with great presentations, activities, clinics, walks, live music, food and more.
